Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and heavy cream until creamy.
Stir the dill, onion, chives, and garlic into the mayonnaise mixture.
Add the black pepper and lemon juice. Stir in salt to taste (if using). Store in refrigerator up to 1 week.

Substitutions And Tips
Taste the homemade ranch dressing before adding salt. The dressing on it's own may be salty enough for your taste.
Substitute ¾ cup of buttermilk for the sour cream and heavy cream
Substitute 2 teaspoons dried dill weed for the fresh dill
Leave out the onions, or if you like the flavor but not the bite, add ½ teaspoon onion powder in place of onion
Substitute ¼ teaspoon garlic powder for the fresh garlic
Fresh squeezed lemon juice is best, but in a pinch, I have used bottled lemon juice.
