Preheat the oven to 357 degrees. In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine the tuna fish, hard boiled eggs, mayonnaise, scallions, and dill pickle.
Roll the crescent roll dough into 1 long rectangle. Place on parchment lined baking sheet. Cut 1" thick and 4" wide strips down each side of crescent roll dough.
Place the tuna filling down the center of the crescent roll dough. Fold strips across the dough to give the appearance of a braid. Bake 17 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with cheddar cheese and the green part of the scallion.

Tips and Substitutions
Be sure to drain the tuna well and flake it with a fork before adding the other ingredients.
I love to use this biscuit cutter for chopping hard boiled eggs. Its what my mom always used, and it is all I have ever used! A pastry blenderworks great as well.
Substitute puff pastry dough for the crescent roll dough.
Add a teaspoon of mayonnaise or sriracha to the tuna mixture for a boost of flavor.
When braiding the dough, be sure to fold the top and bottom over the pastry first, then braid, tucking the dough in a criss cross pattern.
