This Air Fryer Green Bean Casserole recipe is a classic side dish recipe with made with tender green beans in a creamy mushroom soup and crispy french fried onions. It is a tasty side dish served at Thanksgiving dinner, but also makes a great side dish for busy weeknights.

Green beans: this recipe calls for canned cut or french cut green beans. Steamed fresh green beans can be used in its place or frozen beans (unthawed).
Cream of mushroom soup: regular soup has a lot of sodium, so I like to opt for low sodium soup to control the amount of salt in the recipe,
Worcestershire sauce: adds flavor, can substitute soy sauce if desired
Heavy cream: to thin the soup out some and to add flavor
Black pepper:
Paprika: I used sweet paprika, but feel free to use smoked paprika for a little more flavor.
French fried onion strings: I love French's crispy fried onions, they come in a can in the grocery store
🔪 Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the green beans, soup, Worcestershire sauce, cream, and spices.
- Transfer the green bean mixture to a deep baking dish that fit the air fryer basket.
- Cook at 350°f for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through the cooking process.
- Remove the casserole from the air fryer and top with crispy fried onions. Cook at 300°f for 3 minutes.
- Remove casserole from the air fryer and cool slightly before serving.

Baking dish: choose a dish that will fit the air fryer that is deep and will hold all of the casserole.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge up to 5 days.
📖 Variations
- Substitute cream of chicken soup for the cream of mushroom
- Sprinkle the top of the french fried onions with some parmesan cheese before returning to the air fryer.
- Stir in some sauteed fresh mushrooms.
