🥄 Equipment
Air fryer
Meat thermometer
Paper towels
🥫Storage
Store leftover turkey in an airtight container in the fridge up to 5 days or in the freezer up to 3 months.
📖 Variations
- Make a simple spice rub with dry seasonings: measure 1 teaspoon each of garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, thyme, rosemary, and poultry seasoning and rub over the entire turkey breast.
💭 Tips
- Cooking time will vary depending on the size of the turkey breast. Always gauge doneness by checking the internal temperature in the thickest part of the meat. It should register 165 degrees F for poultry.
- A 5 pound turkey breast is about average size for air frying and anything bigger may not fit in the air fryer basket.
- Always thaw a frozen turkey breast in the refrigerator. I take mine out of the freezer at least 2 days before I plan to cook it to be sure it is thawed completely.
- Always use an instant read thermometer to gauge the level of doneness for the turkey.
